Thought I might add that the bench wasn't hard---I don't have any great talent at upholstering----I just wrapped the fabric and used my dad's electric stapler! But thanks for the compliments!

love it, love it!!!, we are like violins the older they are the better they play. i think you must be related to me more then my daughter in law's sister. we both love to decorate. one night i'm watching law and order and got to thinking that a vase would look better over there then there and got up was carrying it to the new place and dan said would you please set down and watch this show and quit carrying "JUGS" around. LOL at his decorating ideas, huh.

Julie, all the redecorating looks great! Love what you did with everything. I have a mirror that has an oak frame from my mom's house. It doesn't go anywhere around here. If it hadn't been my mom's, I would get it taped off and painted immediately! But since this particular item holds sentimental value I'll have to wait and in a few years maybe I'll find it matches my house perfectly again.

As for the anonymous comments, adding word verification might cut down on some of it.
