Menu

I need to come up with a menu for Sun. night fellowship. Anyone have any great ideas? I don't want sloppy Joes. I thought about having chicken enchiladas, corn casserole, homemade salsa, and dessert. What do ya think? Maybe someone that's coming over will read this and give me some ideas. Anybody have a great new dessert recipe???

Hmmmm, sounds good. I'll think about a dessert and get back to you.

That sounds wonderful, unless you have a bunch of older people coming that might not enjoy it. I think we are going to stick with soups and sandwiches for our group coming over.

Sounds pretty good. You'll definitely want a chocolate dessert to go with that. How bout Heath Bar Cake? Bake a chocolate cake, poke holes in it and pour sweetened condensed milk then caramel ice cream topping over it (I don't use the whole thing of caramel, maybe half). After it cools, frost with whipping cream/cool whip and garnish with crushed heath or skore candy bars. YUM!

Would there happen to be a name for that cake that you don't want to share?!?! If we are on the same wavelength, I have a friend who asked me one day at a fellowship what I called it. I told her Heath Bar Cake. She said her husband's secretary brought it to celebrations at work and always called it something she never wanted to tell the church people. So b/c of that Traci never made the cake! lol! I thought that was funny. I'd have just made up a different name.
