Red Sofa Vs. Brown Sofa

Ok I'm in the same dilemma as Sara. Jeff told me to go get a new sofa--don't ya hate it when that happens! ha~ Actually I think he is just as embarrassed at ours as I am. It is for my family room. I narrowed it down to a leather one but for the life of me can't decide if I should to the responsible thing and get brown or the more exciting thing and go for the red!!! I'm having a very indecisive week anyway so I should have known better than to try and make such an important decision(don't laugh all you guys who read this). Problem is I needed to order it yesterday to get the 10% off deal. I called the salesman to say ok get the red one and before we finished the conversation I had waffled again. So, he said don't worry you can tell me the color by Thurs. Great---now I have 2 more days to worry about it. I think I'll go back in and look at the red again. The other bad thing is the red is in stock and I could get it Fri., the brown would take 3 months. So all you readers out there I don't have a picture of it but it is very sleek with like no cushions just a bench like seat and back very mayby retro looking. Just head on over to your local Kittles and take a look at it and give me some advice. ha!

I know how I am, I can't stand to have to wait on something! If I can get it now in one color, that would probably be my choice. When we got our SUV, they had tan interior in stock but would have to order one with black interior. We bought the one with tan because we could drive it home that day! Haven't seen the brown but am sure either is pretty! Be sure to take pictures and post which one you do get!!!

Brown is the safe color. Red, the fun one that we all wish we were brave enough to go with. Does that help? :) Leather does last FOREVER though.

Red, Red, Red.

I am going by the cost of the furniture. If what I was getting was more pricey, I wouldn't do red b/c I know it's going to be out of style before long. That's the only way I am able to justify it if I go that route :) But having to wait 3 months?!?!?! That would be hard too.

Red is very popular right now....Go with your gut feeling! Besides ,if you like it--and your husband is "OK" with it--that's all that really matters!(smile)

Sara, The room is small enough that I can't really spend alot on anything else. So, I figure I'll probably go buy an inexpensive chair in the next couple of months. Sooooo, the red one is ordered but I have until Thurs. to change my mind :)

Ronda, yes and it seems as though red has been popular for quite a long time. Soooo, the question is---will it continue to be the "in" thing??????????
