Jordan's Room

We are finally on the tail end of this huge project! It all started because I got a new washer and dryer 1 1/2 yrs. ago. I had been wanting to redo the laundry room and there was a new space behind my laundry room (from when Jeff put a new roof on the back of our house) that wasn't being used. So, we gutted the laundry room and moved a wall so there would be a hallway to the new room. Here are some pics of how the ceiling turned out. It is really cool. Jordan is sooo excited. I really wanted to put laminate down because I know from experience how hard carpet is!! I hit the jackpot at Menards Sat. We got flooring on sale so it was cheaper than carpet anyway. Mike is picking it up today. All that is left is the flooring, the trim, and the outlet covers. We can't wait! You can't tell in the picture but this room is 400 sq. ft! Jalen and Jordan have been in a room that is about 1/3 of that size.

I love this room, and I love your house. For those who have never been to Julie's home she is has a real flair for decorating. One of those people who can take a chair someone else would throw away and get creative with it making me envious. Good job, Julie. From you bro. in law's mom. gina

Gina--I hear you are pretty creative yourself! According to your daughter-in-law. I'm going to have her bring me to your house sometime so you can take us to all the Goodwill stores!!! I'll make sure I drive Jeff's truck:)

Angie--funny thing is I didn't even know it didn't say "you" until I saw your correction! Um, I'd be glad to come over in like 50yrs from now when my house is totally finished!!har har(it has been an ongoing project for almost 18 yrs!--course it doesn't help that I tend to change things too often!)

Very creative! If I ever find a house on the same planet (it feels like I live a million miles from church)you'll have to give me some tips. I tend to get creative only after someone has jump started my imagination! LOL

This looks so AWESOME, I'm sure he will LOVE it! Talon has been bugging us forever to have his own room, but we keep saying where on earth would we put it and what would we pay for it with??? I guess we have a few more years to worry about it, if we go by the age that Jordan is now : )
