Did you know that sniffing Cascade dish washer soap makes you have daisies in your stomach??? I didn't either---until Jaida told me that yesterday.(she loves to sniff it and said it was kind of like butterflies but it was daisies.)
What a crazy girl! Talon is our sniffer, he sniffs everything, ugh! On a more serious note, you'd better watch what she's sniffen, some of it is dangerous without us parents knowing!
We always thought it was a Mowery thing but Steve Waggoner does it all the time too! So, I guess she gets it from both sides!(My grandma Mowery has a sense of smell like nobody's business!!!) Julie W
Scary thought! Better make sure you keep that canned air out of her reach :) loL!! I actually used to LOVE going to the dentist b/c the nitrus gas gave me that butterfly/sailboat feeling in my tummy.
After reading the other comments, I must share when I was pg with Kerrigan I had gall bladder issues and a very limited diet. No Pepsi at all and lots of other things I wanted so bad but made me so sick. I read somewhere that smelling food would help satisfy the hunger for that. I actually thought it was nuts but tried it. It worked!! All through the rest of my pregnancy you could find me taking nice long breaths over my family's food and drinks. Everyone thought I was nuts.
My sister and I used to LOVE to sniff those permanent markers that had a striped barrel (tan and white stripes?) I don't know if they even make them anymore but they smelled awesome!
That's funny Sara because I was going to say I love to smell dry erase markers---I was afraid you guys would think I was a druggy or something!ha! Julie
Jonathan gets so aggravated at me for smelling everything... Recently I smelled something that didn't smell too good and he was watching me. He said, "Now why would you do that ? Did you expect it to smell good?" :O)
Jody...Did you pick the beans out of your chili?? Remember that experience?? Ha!!!!!
Ooooh, I can't STAND dry erase markers they make me sick to my stomach. But I don't think you are a druggy b/c you do :) My sister used to babysit a little boy that smelled EVERYTHING. It used to annoy us greatly. One day I was using one of those tubs with a sponge soaked in nail polish remover and he wanted to sniff it. Being the mean and ornery child/preteen I was back then, I stuck it right up to his nose. Didn't see him asking to smell very many things at our house after that!
I'm wife to Jeff, Mom to Janae, Jordan, Jalen, and Jaida. I love all things that include decorating and creating stuff. I can't help myself. I tend to want to re-do rooms quite often. I love antique shopping, and finding cool junk.

Sounds like she has some major deficiencies! Ha! She gets the sniffing honest. Travis caught me sniffing my chili today and just rolled his eyes. :)
Jerry says his brother has smelled everything for years, so I guess Talon gets it from him, thanks Alan : (

What is it about markers, gas and other things that shouldn't be appealing to our noses, but yet they are? HA!
I'm figuring we are all really deficient in vitamins and minerals or something;)
