Kitchen

I don't think I ever really posted any pictures after I painted my kitchen. This is an old booth that was here when we moved in. I had it oplostered a few years ago in a light denim fabric that was looking horrible. I didn't want to put very much money into it because we plan on remodeling the kitchen(at least by the time I'm 90)and will probably take it out. I bought fabric paint and made Jeff spray it for me. It turned out pretty good. I was compaining the other day at how awful my khaki rocker looks and Jaida said--just paint it Mom!(I think she has too much of her Mother in her!)

Pretty Cool! You are one crafty person. I would have never thought to "spray" a couch - probably because I have never heard of fabric paint before. What they don't think up!

Oh, don't take out the booth! It is way to cool!

Whoever anonymous is---believe it or not I'm kind of attatched to that thing too!! We were thinking about removing it a few months ago and I got so sentimental I didn't do it! It is really nice when we have company and they can sit while I fix a snack etc. but...it is like having a sofa in the kitchen----will not stay clean!
Julie(P.S. I'll keep you posted:)

I didn't even know they made fabric paint for stuff like that?!?! I did see someone try to roll paint on a sofa, but it didn't work (imagine that, duh)! I love your little booth, my vote is to keep it. Could you select a neutral colored, leather-type fabric to put on it? Something easy to wipe down and keep clean and something that would coordinate with your future re-decorating? Just a suggestion!

Janiece---and how on earth do I know my future decorating--hehe! Yes, I have thought of all that it is just expensive to get redone. Clayton did it last time. Maybe I can twist his arm into doing it again someday?
